VC Commodore GM-H 50th Anniversary Edition.
In 1981 Holden celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Holden and GM merging to become GM-H with a strictly limited edition of the VC Commodore. Despite being a base L model, this was no ordinary Commodore. Looking sensational with SL/E alloy wheels and bumper over riders, the car was powered by a 3.3 litre 6-cylinder engine. Finished in a commemorative gold metallic and unique white pin stripe, this edition could also be identified with a 50th Anniversary transfer on the front fender. This Commodore was also the first known example of a Holden being numbered, with possibly only 225 produced. It is fitting then that Trax also recreates this rare VC model with it’s lowest ever Commodore production run – just 2600!
